A film and video location with quiet interiors, goods-lift access, and space to run a real crew.

- Private entrance, with no public foot traffic

The industrial architecture reads on camera the way a white-box studio cannot. Exposed brick, raw concrete, steel beams, and arched windows give depth, texture, and tonal range to every frame, without set dressing, art direction, or a production designer. The space provides the visual grammar. Your team provides the story.
The goods lift takes full production loads directly to the fifth floor. A private entrance means no risk of members of the public walking into frame. These are the logistics that determine whether a shoot day runs smoothly or burns an hour before the first take.
Why this space works for Film & Video
Sound isolation comes from the building itself. On the fifth floor, street noise is softened by the building's elevation and structure. The concrete floor produces no resonance or vibration from neighbouring spaces. Production crews regularly record clean dialogue and voiceover here without additional soundproofing. The ceiling speaker system is available for playback during performance-heavy or music-driven shoots.
The smart lighting system covers the full space with RGB and tunable white, controllable via a single app. This simplifies colour grading considerations because what you see on set is what arrives in post. HDMI and USB-C connections are available at multiple positions for client monitor feeds and live review. The 500 Mbit/s Wi-Fi supports real-time footage transfer, remote client sessions, and cloud-based editing workflows.
Practical information
A detailed access plan and layout brief are shared with your booking confirmation so your departments can plan setup, monitor positions, and movement through the space in advance.
The structural steel beams are available for lightweight rigging, up to 15 kg per point, subject to a pre-production assessment. Clamps, safety cables, and basic rigging hardware are available on request. For heavier loads, freestanding truss or overhead frame solutions work within the 3.5 m ceiling height.
Production vehicles can park within a two-minute walk, with dedicated loading access at ground level via the goods lift. The nearest NCP car park is a five-minute walk. The building address and vehicle access instructions are shared after booking confirmation.
Equipment for film and video
Sony A7SIII with teleprompter, DJI wireless microphones, continuous video lights, and Ronin RS4 gimbal are available on site, pre-built for interview, presenter, and multi-camera filming days. Tested and production-ready when your crew arrives.

Frequently asked questions
Up to 30 people work comfortably across the 250 m² floor plan with standard multi-department setups including camera, lighting, art direction, hair and makeup, and client viewing.
The structural steel beams support lightweight rigging up to 15 kg per attachment point. This covers LED panels, small softboxes, practicals, and cable routing. Heavier fixtures should use freestanding C-stands, overhead arms, or portable truss within the 3.5 m ceiling clearance.
The fully equipped kitchen and adjacent dining area function as a green room and holding space. They are separated from the main loft floor and can accommodate talent, agency representatives, and catering service without disrupting the shooting area.
Multi-day bookings are available and commonly used for brand film and commercial productions. Equipment can remain overnight between shoot days. Reduced rates apply to consecutive-day bookings, and details are confirmed at the quoting stage.
Generator hire can be arranged with rear-of-building access for cable routing if your production requires it. A pre-production technical assessment can be arranged to review your setup in advance.
The fifth-floor position keeps the studio above most street-level activity. The concrete floor structure helps limit resonance from other parts of the building. Productions regularly record clean sync sound, interview audio, and voiceover without supplementary acoustic treatment.
Sony A7SIII with teleprompter, Sony A7IV B-camera on tripod, DJI wireless microphones with 32-bit float recording, continuous video lights, and a Ronin RS4 gimbal are available as add-ons. The Interview & Presenter Pack and Multi-Camera Production Pack group these items at bundled rates. All equipment is pre-built and production-ready before your crew arrives.
